2024 MCG Fall Junior Tournaments

MCG  Fall Junior Tournaments

2,  One-Day  Fall Tournaments for competitive players

Format: Stroke Play 

Price: $70 for 18hole event; $45 for 9 hole event

  • Includes Golf, Range balls, Awards and the Registration fee   

Three Divisions:

  • Ages 12-13
  • Ages 14-17
  • Ages 9-11 (9-holes from 100yds.) 

Champion is awarded to the player with the lowest  score

USGA Rules govern all play for this tournament

Limited Spots available for each age division

Tee times will be sent 2-4 days before the tournament 

Check in begins an hour before the first tee time

Two Events: 

  • Event #1 | October 26th | Northwest Golf Course
    • Tee Times start around 11:00am
       
  • Event #2 | November 16th| Falls Road Golf Course
    • Round 1 Tee Times start at 11:00am 

 

MCG Junior Tour Policies and Procedures

  • Rules: Players must know and follow the USGA rules of golf. Any local rules will be announced prior to the tournament round.
  • Dress Code: Only acceptable golf attire is permitted.
  • Ties: All ties will be broken by a match of cards based on the USGA guidlines; except First Place ties in the 18-hole divisions, which will have a sudden death play-off.
  • Pace of Play: All groups will be expected to keep up the group in front of them. At the point a group is more than one entire home, you are out of position and will be asked to move up to the correct position. All players in the group will receive double par for the hole that was skipped.
  • Conduct: MCG will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct by players. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification from the MCG Tour for the remainder of the season. The host professional has sole responsibility in the decision for disqualification. 
  • Caddies: NOT Permitted for 18-hole Division, and are ENCOURAGED  for the 9-Hole Division
  • Spectators: Spectators will be allowed to walk with players in the rough or on a cart path if available.  Spectator will not be allowed to speak to or assist players in any way (18-hole division).  Spectators not following these rules will be asked to leave the course.  Golf Carts weill not necessarily be available for spectators

 

Terms & Conditions

The MCG Academy Cancellation Policy for all Tournament Events is as follows:

Tournament fees may be refunded for the full amount if done so with a full 21 days notice. All refunds will be assessed a 5% processing fee per event being refunded and not to exceed $15 per event.  Example: Two tournaments being refunded would be 2 processing fees at 5% of the price for each event.  No changes or refunds issued within 21 days. For all Cancellations and Refunds please contact academyinfo@mcggolf.com
